Itinerary

Route

4 June: Fethiye – Gocek Isles – Kas – Kalkan

1 Oct: Kalkan – Kas  - Gocek Isles – Fethiye

Yassica Islands, Gulet Holiday

Day 1: Fethiye – Kizilada/Turuncpinari/Samanlik

Boarding starts at 15:30 and in the afternoon you will set sail on your Turkish gulet cruise.  The captain will either take you to Kizil Island, Turnuncpinari or Samanlik Bay where you’ll spend your first night.

Day 2: Yassica Islands – Sarsala Bay – Cleopatra Bay

The next morning you set sail to the beautiful Yassica Islands, where you can take a dip in the crystal clear water. Later you’ll visit Sarsala Bay and then head to Manastir (Monastery) Bay, where you’ll spend the evening sheltered by dense pine forest. This place is also known as Cleopatra Bay or Sunken Hamam Bay due to the beautiful underwater ruins of an old Turkish bath.

Butterfly Valley - Kelebekler VadisiDay 3: Tersane Island – Aga Harbour – Butterfly Valley – Oludeniz – Gemiler Islands

The gulet will set sail early so that you can wake up to the lush green and turquoise seas of Tersane Island.  After breakfast you visit the natural harbour of Aga Limani for sun and swimming before heading further along the coast.  In the afternoon you’ll visit the stunning Butterfly Valley, a bay encircled by 350 metre-high mountains and named after the ‘Jersey Tiger’ butterflies that visit between July and September. From here you head to Oludeniz where you can swim or kayak round the peaceful blue lagoon. And finally you head to Gemiler Islands for the evening.

Day 4: Limanagzi – Kas

Your Turkey gulet holiday continues with a morning at Limanagzi for a dip and some breakfast.  You will then head to the charming town of Kaş, where you can enjoy the winding lanes and Bougainvillea covered buildings.  You’ll spend the afternoon and evening in Kas where you can either relax on the boat or explore the town.

Sunken Lycian city on the Kekova island, TurkeyDay 5: Kas – Sicak Bay – Kalekoy

After breakfast in Kas, you’ll spend the morning and lunchtime in Sicak Bay where you can enjoy the turquoise waters and calm surroundings.  For the evening you head to Kalekoy in the Kekova region.

Day 6: Kekova

The next day will be spent in the coves and bays of Kekova, where you’ll have a chance to see a most intriguing ancient site – Turkey’s famous sunken city ruins.  Due to an earthquake the ancient city of Apollonia (Dolchiste) is now 2 metres under water and nearby you can also see partially submerged Lycian Tombs.  And as if that wasn’t enough, the cove is also prime turtle spotting territory.

Kalkan - Turkey HolidayDay 7: Komur Island – Firnaz Bay – (Kalkan)

The final day gives you a chance to make the most of the relaxation. In the morning you’ll stop at Komur Island for sun and sea, and after lunch you head to Firnaz Bay.  You can choose to spend the night in Firnaz Bay or head to the hot spot of Kalkan, which the Guardian likens to “the Italian Riviera minus the poseurs.”

Day 8: Kalkan

After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, you’ll disembark at 10am with an air relaxation and head full of memories. A perfect end to a wonderful blue cruise.

Please note depending on sea and weather conditions, the captain reserves the right to make necessary changes to the tour itinerary to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.
