The Dive
Experience diving in the beautiful seas of Hisarönü Bay with MSY Okyanus JD. Her attentive crew are also experienced certified divers with local knowledge of the best dive sites in the region, which is teeming with marine life and dozens of ruins and wrecks, a reminder of Turkey’s long history. With its water temperatures always around 25 C Marmaris bays offers a great diving experience.
Okyanus JD is fully equipped with everything you need for a good dive and all safety measures are taken by the boat crew. There are 2-3 dives a day with additional night dives. All the dive sites are out of the reach of the daily tour boats so you enjoy an exclusive diving experience.
Dive Sites
The Boat
Okyanus JD, specifically designed for a diving holiday, has 3 double and 3 twin cabins with a total guest capacity of 12. All cabins have A/C and an en-suite bathroom with 24 hour hot water. It has a fully equipped kitchen. The saloon is spacious and has a bar and a dining area. There is plenty of deck space with a dining area as well. Okyanus JD has a music system on board as well as 24 hour phone / tablet charging facilities. It also has a powerful zodiac to reach dive sites that might be unreachable for the gulet.
The Tour
The tour starts and ends in Selimiye in Hisaronu Bay. Aside from diving, you get a chance to visit historical sites of the ancient Lycia and have nature walks in the beautiful Aegean coast during your tour.
Meals are prepared by the on-board cook and served by the staff of the boat. If you think Turkish food is all about doner kebabs, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. There’s lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, olive oil dishes, grilled fish and meat and wonderful mezes. Take a look at our sample menu for more details. Drinks can be purchased at the bar at reasonable prices and water is always free of charge.

Terms
- All prices are per person in a double cabin over 7 nights and 8 days.
- Price includes a full board accommodation and an afternoon snack.
- Tours start and end on Saturdays.
- Prices vary if you’d like to book the whole boat. Non-divers are also welcome.Please ask.
- If you’d like to get a double cabin for one person you’re required to pay an extra 65% of the price.
- 2-3 dives a day for 5 days are guaranteed.
- Cylinders and weights are included in the price.
- Courses are available for complete beginners.
